April 28

– A resident in the 400 block of South Pickaway Street reported hearing noises outside her residence. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anything. The scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to an activated burglary alarm at the Ohio Market on East Ohio Street. The owner advised the alarm was accidental, and the scene checked OK.

– A 911 caller reported an erratic driver in the area of East Main Street and Kingston Pike. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office was advised.

– A caller reported a vehicle swerving all over the roadway in the area of Main Street and Court Street downtown. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle, and the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office was advised.

– A resident in the 100 block of Fairview Blvd. reported his neighbor’s garage door and house had been spray-painted. A report was taken on vandalism.

– Officers performed a well-being check in the 500 block of Woodsview Court after reports of a female fainting in the 100 block of Island Road, but she left the scene prior to the medic’s arrival. The officer made contact with the subject at her residence, and she checked OK.

– A resident in the 300 block of Logan Street reported $109 was stolen from her residence. A report was taken on theft.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident on Lancaster Pike near Dollar General.

– David Hanshaw was arrested for a parole violation in the 500 block of South Scioto Street. Circleville Police officers assisted parole officers with the arrest.

– A resident in the 500 block of Plaza Drive reported his vehicle was missing. A report was taken on a stolen vehicle.

– A resident in the 100 block of West Water Street reported she had been in the hospital, and when she returned home she found a check and prescription pills missing. A report was taken on theft.

– Officers and the city fire department responded to an activated smoke alarm on the third floor of the Holiday Inn on U.S. Route 23. The alarm was canceled by the alarm company.

– An employee at UDF on East Main Street reported solicitors on the lot who had previously been told to leave the area. Officers advised the subjects checked OK but were asked to leave the premises.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 300 block of Logan Street. The scene checked OK.

– Officers performed a stand-by in the 600 block of East Mound Street. The stand-by was completed without incident.

– A 911 caller reported a male appeared to have fallen out of a wheelchair in the area of the Dairy Shed and the storage lockers on Route 56 East. The officer located the male at the 56 Car Wash, and he checked OK. He advised he was stuck in the grass and fell, but he suffered no injuries.

– The Circleville Fire Department was requested to test for carbon monoxide at a residence in the 100 block of South Scioto Street. The scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to a hang-up call in the 100 block of East Franklin Street. The call was determined to be accidental, and the scene checked OK.

– A caller who reported he was homeless requested to speak to an officer at Ted Lewis Park about a male subject threatening to kill his family. The subject was referred to Ross County where the incident occurred.

– A resident came to the police station to speak with an officer regarding the investigation of vandalism at Forest Cemetery and said she was concerned about a suspicious vehicle driving past her house outside the city limits. She was referred to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.

– The Ohio State Highway Patrol in Lancaster advised they recovered a vehicle that had been reported stolen from the city.

– Officers provided a stand-by for Fletcher’s Towing as they towed a vehicle from the 100 block of Villa Drive.

– A 911 caller requested a squad and hung up in the 500 block of Northfield Drive. The subject was transported to Berger Hospital.

– A resident in the 100 block of East Main Street requested an officer stand-by when she returned home due to reports of a male subject at her house threatening to assault her. She was advised to request a stand-by when she was ready to return home. She later called back to request an officer due to a male in her residence that locked the doors and refused to allow her back in. Keith E. Sullivan, 28, of Columbus, and Mario Robinson, 30, of Columbus, were arrested at the scene, and a report was taken on possession.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident in the area of Watt and Washington streets.

– A resident in the 100 block of Logan Street requested to speak with an officer about someone calling her repeatedly trying to sell her pills.

– A caller reported an open garage door in the 500 block of North Court Street. Officers made contact with the homeowner, and the scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 100 block of South Scioto Street. The subjects were advised to turn down the volume of their music.

– A caller reported a suspicious male around his vehicle in the 400 block of South Pickaway Street. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Avalla on Watt Street. The alarm company then called back to cancel.

April 29

– Officers responded to an activated panic alarm in the 400 block of South Court Street. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 100 block of West High Street reported her car had been broken into and the window was shattered. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A 911 caller reported a vehicle having trouble staying in its lane on U.S. Route 22 East. Officers were advised.

– A resident in the 500 block of Tower Court reported her husband was trying to take the daughter from the residence without the mother’s approval. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 500 block of North Pickaway Street reported her vehicle was missing from her driveway. A report was taken on a stolen vehicle.

– A home health care worker reported she was unable to get her patients to answer the door in the 100 block of Dunmore Road. An officer performed a well-being check and determined the scene checked OK. The scene was left to the health care provider.

– A resident in the 400 block of Watt Street reported someone had vandalized her fence. A report was taken.

– An officer traveled to the Fairfield County Jail to take custody of Tyler Greeno on a warrant from the Circleville Police Department.

– A Chillicothe resident advised she needed an officer to take a theft report from an incident in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue.

– A caller from Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health on Morris Road reported a known male was on the premises and refusing to leave. The officer located the male and advised him to leave the property.

– A caller identified as homeless reported a known female subject was harassing her by phone and trying to prevent her from renting a home in town. Officers determined there was no harassment.

– A resident requested extra patrol in the 200 block of West Water Street due to juveniles playing basketball late into the night and attempting to tear down the stop sign. Information was obtained.

– An officer was flagged down by a male requesting a stand-by at his residence in the 500 block of Tower Court due to a domestic dispute with his wife. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 100 block of Nicholas Drive reported a custody issue. Both parties came to an agreement and were referred to court for custody issues.

– A resident in the 300 block of Pontious Lane reported some of her medication was missing from the bottle. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller reported a male on a motorcycle at Clark Drive and Pontious Lane was driving at a high rate of speed. The subject was located and advised of his driving habits.

– Officers responded to an activated smoke alarm at the Holiday Inn on U.S. Route 23. It was determined to be a false alarm.

– A caller reported someone driving recklessly in the area of Huston Street and U.S. Route 23. Officers were unable to locate.

– The Ohio State Highway Patrol requested the city’s canine unit for a search on a traffic stop on U.S. Route 23. A report was taken on an agency assist.

– A caller at Ohio Heights on East Ohio Street reported people in a brown van were causing problems at the complex and she would like a report taken on assault. A summons was issued to one subject. Officers then received a second call from a male subject who advised he was about to hit a female who threw a cup of coffee at his child. A medic was requested for a hand injury, but the subject declined transport.

– A resident in the 100 block of Lewis Road reported male subjects shooting off fireworks in front of the apartment complex on the north side of the road. Officers were unable to locate.

– A resident in the 300 block of Pontious Lane reported someone firing a BB gun or pellet gun in the area of Clark Drive and Pontious Lane. Officers were unable to locate.

– A resident reported she had some medication stolen in the 100 block of Kimberly Place. A report was taken on theft.

– An anonymous caller reported a younger male walking on Main Street playing with something in his waistband that looked like a gun. Officers were unable to locate.

– An anonymous caller reported someone was removing a TV from the back porch of a residence in the 100 block of Fairview Avenue, then called back to report people were back inside the residence. Officers made contact and determined the subjects had permission to be at the location.

– An Upper Arlington resident requested officers check the YMCA on Nicholas Drive for a vehicle that was taken without permission. No charges were filed, but the vehicle was located and the owner arrived to take possession.

– An anonymous caller advised an officer should go to the 200 block of Logan Street because a known male subject was breaking the windows of a vehicle. Officers advised it was an accident, and no report was taken by request.

– A resident came to the police station to request filing assault charges and a protection order after being assaulted earlier in the evening at Ohio Heights. The resident was referred to the prosecutor.

– The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office advised a caller reported a suspicious person “bouncing around” the middle bay of Royal Car Wash on North Court Street without a vehicle. The subject was located and advised he was dumpster diving. He was advised of the complaint.
