Gary Paul Roush, 64, of Circleville, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017, at his residence following a brief illness.

He was born May 26, 1952, in Washington Court House, the son of Dwayne Paul and Georgia Irene (Shiltz) Roush.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Gary was a veteran of the Air Force Reserves and had worked at RCA for 30+ years. He currently was the maintenance supervisor for Pickaway Manor.

Gary was a member of the American Legion, AMVETS and the Eagles.

He enjoyed riding his Harley, watching NASCAR, drinking Bud Light and a little Crown Royal.

He was a hardworking and generous man who was loving and loyal to his family and friends. While Gary’s departure from this life leaves a hole in the hearts of many, he would want everyone to remember the good times you’ve shared.

Gary leaves behind his loving wife, Carol L. (Addy) Roush; his mother, Georgia, of Washington Court House; children, Angela Sue Roush Spriggs, Chadd Paul (Holly) Roush, Tiffany Ann (B.J.) Eitel, Amy Lynn (Jeff) Lindzy, Richard Carl Wilson and Bradley Neil Wilson; grandchildren, Ashleigh Barnes, Logan Spriggs, Hunter Roush, Darby Eitel, Brody Eitel and Braylin Lindzy; brother, Jack (Sandy) Roush; and many, many good friends.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, with the funeral service being held at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to AMVETS Post 2256, 818 Tarlton Rd., Circleville, OH 43113.
