Loyal Gene “Mac” McDonald, 85, of Circleville, passed away on March 13, 2017.

He was born on Aug. 30, 1931, in Junior, West Virginia, to Shirley and Norma (Bibey) McDonald.

He was an Air Force veteran who enjoyed golfing and was a member for years at Upper Landsdowne.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jack and Shirley Ray McDonald.

Mac is survived by his wife, Betty (Robinson) McDonald; daughter, Susan (Roger) Brumfield; step-daughter, Sharon (Tim) Good; grandchildren, Andrea (Alex) Kardos, Leah and Steven Brumfield, Jennifer Dodson and Gary (Jaymi) Brumfield; step-grandson, Shawn (Mandy) Good; 17 great- and two great-great-grandchildren; and by sister, Joann Middaugh.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral, Circleville, with Craig Chaffins officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at the funeral home.
