CIRCLEVILLE – A local woman is being treated for injuries after crashing her vehicle into City Hall on Wednesday afternoon.

Louise Spain, 91, of Circleville, was transported to Berger Hospital by Circleville EMS shortly after the crash at 1:09 p.m. Wednesday, then airlifted to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for further treatment.

Spain’s vehicle crashed through the window on the southeast corner of the City Hall building at 127 S. Court St.

No other injuries were reported.

Circleville Police confirm Spain was alone in the vehicle at the time of the incident, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
