Carol Sue McNichols, 60, of Laurelville, passed away on March 10, 2017, at Mount Carmel West surrounded by her family.
She was born July 6, 1956, the daughter of the late Leroy and Anna Hedges.
On Oct. 19, 1974, she married her loving husband of 42 years, Tim McNichols, who survives.
She is also survived by her children, Joey (Becky) McNichols and Jennifer McNichols, both of Laurelville; grandchildren, Tyler, Colten, Branden and Kaylee McNichols; siblings, Janet Nungester, Linda Miller, Marvin (Patty) Hedges, Jerry (Kathy) Hedges, Paul (Kricket) Hedges, Larry (Carol) Hedges, Harry (Marlene) Hedges, and Rick Hedges; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Brenda Esteps) McNichols, Rick (Sue) McNichols, and Bill (Karen) McNichols; sister-in-law, Jackie (Tom) Hunts; several nieces and nephews; and many other special friends and family members.
Carol was also preceded in death by brothers, Eddie, Dwayne and Dale Hedges; an infant sister; and niece, Melissa Fletcher.
Carol was an avid mushroom hunter and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston, with Rev. James Vandagriff officiating. Burial will follow at Green Summit Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hill’s.
