Lois A. Klotz

Lois A. Klotz, 73, of Circleville, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 4, 2017.

She was born on June 15, 1943, in Columbus, and was a graduate of South High School.

She worked for Kroger for 23 years before retiring in 2001.

Lois was a devoted mom, grandma and friend who was truly selfless in her caring and giving manner. She had a great sense of humor and an endearing quality – the ability to laugh at herself. She loved her pups and was one of the first contributors to Partners for Paws, continuing to be a huge supporter.

Lois was a member of Good Shepherd Church and looked forward to going to Bible Study on Wednesday nights. She was a huge Buckeye fan and enjoyed doing crosswords. But it was her family, especially her grandkids as well as her circle of friends, who brought her the most joy in life.

Lois was preceded in death by her mother, Margaretta (Horch) Jenkins; step-father, Monte Jenkins; sister, Betty Castle; and brothers, Jim and Jack Richardson.

Left to mourn her passing are her loving family: daughters, Deborah Klotz and Tamara Mitchell; grandsons, Bryan Buskirk, Nathan Buskirk and Justin (Erica) Buskirk; great-grandchildren, Darren, Savannah and Braxton Buskirk, Kadin Walls, Zach and Jordan Bryzcki; sister, Alice Loomis; many special nieces and nephews, including Sheryl and Jim Fraley and Dave and Sharon Zimmerman who were always there by Lois’ side. She also leaves behind her extended family, Kim Siniff and Mike Siniff; devoted friends, Jill and Al Smith and Robin and Tom Ash; and last but not least, her dog, Rylee.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2016, at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 310 E. Main St., Circleville, with Pastor Kevin Gruver officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home.

Please honor Lois’ memory by wearing your scarlet and gray to the visitation and/or funeral. Go Bucks!!!!

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd UMC at the above address; or Partners for Paws, P.O. Box 282, Circleville, OH 43113.
