Norma June (Coffland) Ankrom, 90, of Circleville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, at Pickaway Manor.

She was born June 28, 1926, in Circleville, the daughter of Leonard Elsworth and Mary (Stout) Coffland.

One of six children, which included two sets of twins, June was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Mark; brother, Leonard “Jack” Jr. (who was a twin to sister, Lois); and twin sisters, Margie and Marion.

June graduated from Circleville High School in the class of 1944 and looked forward to seeing her schoolmates at their monthly luncheons. June also was a graduate of Bliss Business College.

During her younger years, June worked for Ralston Purina Mills, then went on to work in the Pickaway County Auditor’s Office until retirement.

She loved people and was happiest when surrounded by her family. Whether it was watching the grandkids play ball, gathering around the table for a meal or going to the beach for family vacations, June loved every moment.
