Carolyn “Sue” (Bowen) Collins, age 59, of Circleville, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, at OSU Wexner Medical Center.
She was born on Jan. 22, 1958, in Paintsville, Kentucky.
Sue had worked as a supervisor at American Pacific in Columbus and as a domestic engineer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is preceded by her brother, Fairon Dean Bowen; and sister, Karen Blevins.
Sue is survived by her husband of over 27 years, Woodrow Collins; children, Amanda Cuevas (Shane Crosby) and Craig (Mary) Huston, both of Ashville; step-son, Vincent (Dawn) Collins of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Anthony, Dakota and Ashton Cuevas and Alexis Crosby; great-grandchildren, Aydin and Ezra; sisters, Wilma James of Ashville, Sharon Ward of Circleville and Marlene May of Ashville; brother, Junior Bowen of Ashville; brother-in-law, Charles (Coleen) Collins of Peebles; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Sissy.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, with a memorial service at 7 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
