John Moore, 89, of Canal Winchester, died Feb. 9, 2017, at the Chillicothe VA Hospital.
He was born on Nov. 14, 1927, in Wilmington, the son of the late Herbert and Sophia (Kubrusly) Moore.
He was a World War II and Korea Army and Air Force veteran and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Barthelmas) Moore; son, John (Denisa) Moore; daughter, Jennifer (Jose) Perez-Hernandez; grandchildren, Kjirstina, Javier, Melena, Khadajah, Enrique and Julio; and brothers, Philip, James and Joseph Moore.
Funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Jose Perez-Hernandez officiating. Burial will be in Reber Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
