Evelyn J. Wellington, age 102, of Orchard Park, New York, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, at home in Orchard Park.
Mrs. Wellington was born March 11, 1914, in Buffalo, New York.
She is the daughter of the late Fred and the late Frances (Grace) Langdon; beloved wife of the late Floyd A. Wellington; loving mother of John (late Shirley), Jeanne (Robert) Baird, Sally Bojan, Barbara (Thomas) Tootle, Bruce (Linda), Robert (Mary) and Sandra (Larry) Brand; dearest grandmother of Susan (Jim) Buczek, John (Carolyn) Wellington, Laura (Doug) Miskell, James (Mandi) Wellington, Leanne (Patrick) Donohue and Eric (Mary) Wellington, Debra (Robert) Hill, Wendy (Todd) Glendenning, Jodi (Steve) Dickinson, Robert Baird (Christian Reitler), Scott (Erin) Baird, Kristen (Thomas) Barrett and Becky (Kevin) Beers, Anna Snyder, Aaron (Faith) Bojan, Molly Tootle, Matthew (Brittany) Tootle, Amy (Timothy) Kasper, Kimberly (Steven) Tucker, Jennifer (Brian) Larson, Michelle (Matthew) Miller, Melissa (Mark) Nemec, Robert (Maura), Karie and Thomas (Christina) Wellington, Larry (Heather) Brand, Justin (Becki) Brand, Courtney (Aaron) Martin and Michael (Amanda) Brand; also survived by 79 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at Wesleyan Church of Orchard Park, 7295 Ellicott Rd., Orchard Park, New York. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Orchard Park, on Monday. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home Inc., 6575 E. Quaker St., Orchard Park, New York.
