Walter Eugene Redman, 79, of Laurelville, died Jan. 7, 2017, at Logan Health Care.
He was born Feb. 6, 1937, in Pickaway County, the son of the late Fred and Jennie (Curry) Redman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scott Redman; brothers, Fred II (Jack) and Harry (Bit) Redman; and sister, Lucille Redman.
He was U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his children, Kendra Redman of Laurelville, Toni Redman of Londonderry, Nikki (David) Weaver of Laurelville, Shauna (Donnie) Charles of Londonderry and Terra (Kevin Sherrick) Redman of Laurelville; their mother, Ruth Redman of Laurelville; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one (very special to him) great-great-granddaughter, McKinleigh Pinkstock; eight step-great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia (Chester) Eveland; and special friends, Ricky Hampshire and Gracie Noble.
No services were observed; cremation has taken place. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date in Muhlenburg Cemetery.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 5, 2017, at Laurelville VFW catered by Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club.
