Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Jermaine C. Bozeman (aka J-Rock), 31, an inmate at the Franklin County Jail, pleaded not guilty to engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, two counts of trafficking in cocaine and one count of trafficking in heroin. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Michael E. Camp, 36, of Moore Avenue, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to felony OVI. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– David A. Caslin (aka Stixx), 44, an inmate of the Franklin County Jail, pleaded not guilty to engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, three counts of trafficking in cocaine and four counts of trafficking in heroin. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Cody C. Clyne, 22, of state Route 56 East, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– Ulysses L. Combs Sr., 42, of Walnut Creek Pike, Kingston, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. He was sentenced to 10 months in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Octavia A. Dunkle, 19, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to trespassing in a dwelling and theft. She was sentenced to 15 months in state prison (suspended) and must serve 30 days in the county jail and three years of community control.

– Debbie Johnson, 35, of Walnut Creek Pike, Kingston, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. She was sentenced to 11 months in state prison at Marysville and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Jerod R. Julian, 33, of Chippewa Drive, Circleville, pleaded guilty to pandering obscenity involving a minor. He was sentenced to two years in state prison at Orient, a $5,000 fine and was classified as a Tier II sex offender with registration for 25 years.

– Malaine Lambiase, 26, of Brookhaven Place, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention and possession of heroin. She was sentenced to 18 months in state prison at Marysville and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Donald Lee, 31, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Eugene M. McClaskey, 20, of state Route 104, Ashville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 18 months in state prison at Orient.

– Danie’l S. Moody, 39, of Newark, pleaded not guilty to non-support of dependents. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– Bryan T. Parmer, 34, of East Mound Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to two counts of grand theft. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– George Poling, 36, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. His community control for failure to pay child support was extended from three to five years.

– Sarah A. Shannon, 25, of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling, pleaded not guilty to four counts of theft and one count of forgery. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– Justin J. Santos, 22, of London Road, Orient, was found incompetent to stand trial on two counts of felonious assault. He is to be placed at Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare for restoration of competency.

– Rachelle Thompson, 29, of Wolfe Road, Circleville, pleaded guilty to grand theft and Medicaid eligibility fraud. She was sentenced to 16 months in state prison (suspended) and three years of community control.

– Craig Young, 44, of Amanda Southern Road, Amanda, pleaded not guilty to a violation of community control for non-support of dependents. A hearing is set for May 16.
