April 8

– Brady Howett, 29, of Brookville, advised he was unable to stop on U.S. Route 23 and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Nancy Kirkpatrick, 78, of Chillicothe.

April 9

– Steven Tomlinson, 21, of Amanda, advised he was unable to stop on Lancaster Pike and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Stanley Okoye, 23, of Circleville, No injuries were reported.

– Lajeannia Eyerman, 37, of Logan, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when she struck a vehicle driven by Linda Stieg, 63, of Pickerington, on U.S. Route 22. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Cody Smith, 25, of Ashville, was cited for failure to control when he ran off the roadway on state Route 762, striking a utility pole. No injuries were reported.

– Todd R. Nichols, 46, of Ashville, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of OVI.

April 10

– A resident in the 10000 block of Kingston Whisler Road, Kingston, reported an unknown person stole the tailgate from his vehicle. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 1000 block of South Washington Street reported she was struck by her daughter, but she declined to press charges. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 1000 block of South Pickaway Street reported an unknown person stole medication from his residence. A report was taken on theft.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 20000 block of Jackson Road, Circleville. The scene checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 20000 block of Justus Road, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on Mill Street in Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on Yukon Drive in Commercial Point.

– A deputy responded to reports of a fire in the 7700 block of Mound Street, Orient. Pleasant Township, Scioto Township and Jackson Township firefighters responded to the scene.

– A deputy responded to 1470 S. Court St., Circleville, on a report of found property. The property was taken to the sheriff’s office for safekeeping.

– Matthew Nixon, 38, of New Holland, advised he looked away from the road while driving on U.S. Route 22, went off the roadway and struck a ditch. No injuries were reported.

– Jodi Cory, 50, of Frankfort, was cited for failure to yield when she struck a vehicle driven by Anthony Tanzille, 24, of Westerville, on U.S. Route 22. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Daniel S. Moody, 39, of Newark, was arrested on a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for non-support of dependents.

– Nikolas R. Wilson, 32, of Circleville, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for a violation of probation on the original charge of OVI.

April 11

– A subject was issued a citation for speeding and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 22 near Ringgold Southern Road.

– Three victims in the area of 17000 Ward Rd., Ashville, reported damage to their mailboxes. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 20000 block of Jackson Road, Circleville. The property was secured in an evidence locker at the sheriff’s office for safekeeping.

– Deputies responded to reports of a property damage hit-skip accident in the 11000 block of U.S. Route 62. Fletchers Towing impounded the vehicle.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 10600 block of Ashville Pike, Lockbourne.

– John R. Blevins Jr., 40, of Lancaster, was arrested on three attachments for contempt issued from Pickaway County Juvenile Court for non-support of dependents.

April 12

– A resident in the 23000 block of Eisenhower Drive reported her son was abusive to her, but she declined to press charges. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 100 block of Yukon Drive, Commercial Point, reported two juveniles could not be located after prom. The juveniles were located in Grove City, and they each will be charged as unruly.

– A resident in the 10000 block of state Route 762, Lockbourne, reported her son stole her computer tablet. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller reported several vacant manufactured homes in the 12000 block of Tarlton Road had been broken into, and several items were missing. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 4000 block of state Route 316 West, Ashville, reported a runaway juvenile. The subject was later located.

– A resident in the 6000 block of Ludwig Dresbach Road reported her ex-husband had been texting threatening messages. A report was taken on telephone harassment.

– A resident reported locating a vehicle in the woods in the 16000 block of U.S. Route 23. It was discovered the vehicle had been entered as stolen by the South Bloomfield Police Department.

– An employee at Walmart on South Court Street reported a suspect fled the store with miscellaneous items. Charges of theft will be filed.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the area of U.S. Route 62 and Ballah Road, Orient.

– A deputy and the canine unit, Turpin, were dispatched to U.S. Route 23 near Orr Road to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a traffic stop and free air narcotics check. Turpin indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle.

– Jeana Routt, 41, of Lancaster, struck a vehicle driven by Ezekiel Brock, 19, of Lancaster, on U.S. Route 22. No injuries were reported.

– Ryan Wurtzel, 40, of Chillicothe, was arrested on a warrant from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for failure to appear on the original charge of non-support of dependents.

April 13

– An employee at Pettit’s on Mill Street, Williamsport, reported shoplifting suspects fled the scene. A report was taken on theft.

– An employee at H&R Block on Summit Avenue reported a counterfeit bill that was collected and taken into evidence. A report was taken on criminal simulation.

– A resident inm the 12000 block of London Road, Orient, reported a runaway juvenile. The subject was later located.

– A resident in the 5000 block of Valley Forge Drive, Orient, reported domestic violence and an unruly child. No charges were filed.

– A deputy responded to complaints on a vehicle in the 9000 block of Morgan Road, Orient.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 9000 block of Welch Road, Orient.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 4800 block of Duvall Road, Ashville.

– Jeremy Thompson, 26, of Laurelville, advised a vehicle driven by Nathan Azbell, 29, of Rockbridge, crossed left of center, causing him to swerve and strike a mailbox on Stout Road. No injuries were reported.

– Alexander Karshner, 21, of Adelphi, advised he applied his brake to his motorcycle and the tire locked up, causing him to lay the bike down and slide off the roadway on state Route 56. He was treated for injuries.

– A 17-year-old juvenile from Circleville was cited for failure to yield when she struck a vehicle driven by Johnathan Pollard, 43, of Albany on U.S. Route 22. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Ashley N. Vansickle, 23, of Orient, was arrested on a warrant from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for a violation of probation on the original charges of receiving stolen property and forgery.

– Brett J. Barber, 34, of Columbus, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charges of domestic violence and aggravated menacing.

April 14

– Dawn Clark, 42, of Orient, advised a large black dog ran into her path and was struck on London Road. No injuries were reported.
