April 10

– A resident in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike reported hearing a female screaming in a neighboring apartment. Officers reported the residents were having a game night and were advised of the noise. The scene checked OK.

– A report was taken on underage alcohol after a caller in the 600 block of Fairlawn Drive reported four or five people causing a disturbance outside. All parties were released to sober adults.

– Officers responded to reports of an open door at Brookhill Animal Clinic on Lancaster Pike. The scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to an activated hold-up alarm at Tim Hortons on U.S. Route 23. The scene checked OK, and the activation was accidental by an employee.

– A caller reported utility lines hanging low in the 100 block of Watt Street. The officer could not tell if they were power lines or cable lines, but the scene was blocked off and crews would follow up when it was light outside.

– A resident in the 100 block of York Street reported a suspicious vehicle patroling her neighborhood in the mornings while she is leaving for work. Officers determined it was the paper delivery person.

– An officer was flagged down for a report of an open garage door in the 200 block of North Scioto Street. The scene checked OK, and the homeowner was advised.

– A 911 caller reported the neighbor in the 100 block of West Mound Street yelled at him and his partner about their dog and then told him, “We don’t want your kind in this town.” A report was taken.

– An employee at Health Food Cupboard on West Main Street reported a vehicle littered soda cans on their property. Officers will attempt to make contact with the person based on the license plate number and go pick up the property.

– A resident in the 200 block of Lee Court requested extra patrol after someone ransacked their vehicle overnight.

– Officers performed a well-being check in the 400 block of Brown Street.

– A Kentucky resident came to the police station to report her daughter’s ex keeps calling and harassing her. The officer will attempt to make contact with the subject and advise him to stop.

– A resident in the 300 block of Town Street reported someone broke into his garage and stole some items. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 700 block of Maplewood Avenue reported a dispute with her mother over living arrangements. The officer advised it was a civil issue.

– A resident came to the police station to request a standby in the 100 block of East Mill Street. A report was taken on theft.

– Two callers reported a teenage male riding a four-wheeler recklessly in the area of Ray and Lincoln Avenue. Officers located the ATV on Faye Avenue but did not observe any violations. The subjects were advised of the complaint.

– A resident in the 500 block of East Union Street came to the police station to report a theft.

– A resident reported her grandchild got off the school bus but could not be located. Upon arrival, the officer advised the child had been located and checked OK.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 400 block of Half Avenue after a resident reported three vehicles speeding through the area throughout the day.

– A caller at Berger Hospital reported several subjects were digging through a dumpster at the hospital and left after being confronted by security. The caller was not sure if anything was missing. South Bloomfield Police and the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop on the vehicle on the lot at Speedway in South Bloomfield. The males were advised not to return to the property unless they need medical attention. A report was taken on criminal trespass.

– A resident in the 300 block of Logan Street reported occupants of a vehicle appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. The subjects checked OK.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Wesbanco on North Court Street. The alarm was set off accidentally by an employee, and the scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a female beating up a male in the 100 block of Rustic Drive. Officers determined there was no assault or dispute, just a loud conversation. The scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to reports of a loud argument in the 100 block of Logan Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a verbal argument between a male and female in the alley beside Shifty’s Bar on South Washington Street. Officers advised the subjects were having a conversation, and the male subject went walking to cool off.

– A caller in the 100 block of Rustic Drive advised she wanted to report a fight that took place last Tuesday. The officer reported the alleged physical confrontation was referenced to a call taken earlier.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of South Scioto Street. The scene checked OK.

– An employee at Kroger on Lancaster Pike reported a theft and that a juvenile was being detained. The juvenile’s mother was contacted, and the officer would check with store managers prior to pursuing charges.

– A caller in the 100 block of East Franklin Street reported an argument between a male and a female. The officers advised there was no argument at all and cleared the scene.

– Nicholas Fogg and Kimberly Henry were arrested in the 800 block of Kingston Court for domestic violence.

April 11

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Wellman’s Funeral Home on North Court Street. The alarm company called back to cancel with the proper code.

– A resident in the 500 block of Plaza Drive reported her vehicle alarm was going off, and when she looked outside, the vehicle was gone. The vehicle was located at Buffalo Wild Wings where her daughter is employed.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Eye Specialists on U.S. Route 23. The scene checked OK.

– A resident came to the police station to file a complaint about an officer standby in the 100 block of East Mill Street the day before that violated a court order. The complainant was advised, and the situation checked OK.

– A resident in the 100 block of Villa Drive reported she locked her keys in the car with the engine running. She was referred to Fletcher’s Towing.

– A caller reported someone had struck a pole in the last couple of days in the 1400 block of North Court Street and damaged the pole. Frontier was advised of the damage.

– A resident in the 300 block of Logan Street reported occupants of a vehicle parked in the area appeared to be under the influence. Officers advised the occupants were waiting on their child, who was playing in the area. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported she was locked out of her vehicle at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds. The call was transferred to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.

– Officers traveled to the Pickaway County Jail to serve a warrant on Joseph Paxton Ferguson.

– An officer reported he was advised people were having sex in a vehicle on the south parking lot of Rooster’s near Holiday Inn Express on U.S. Route 23. Officers made contact with the subjects, and the scene checked OK.

– A resident came to the police station to turn in a found wallet. The wallet was returned to its owner.

– A resident came to the police station to report they had been scammed when they thought they were sending money to someone in Africa. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue reported three large dogs running loose in the area. The dog warden was advised.

– A resident in the 200 block of Lee Court called 911 to report her son had taken her keys and left the residence, and she wanted to go to the store. She advised she would wait for her son to return and have him go shopping for her.

– A 911 caller reported a female walking with two small children on North Court near Pleasant Street who appeared to be under the influence. Officers located the subjects and determined the female was not under the influence but had a sprained ankle. A medic was called for a child with injuries from a dog bite, and the child was treated at the scene. A report was taken on a dog bite.

– A 911 caller reported two German Shepherds in his back yard in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue. The dogs were returned to their residence, and the owner was advised.

– Officers traveled to the Pickaway County Jail to serve a warrant on John R. Blevins Jr.

– An employee at the Kwik Stop Sunoco on West Main Street reported a female in the store who purchased cigarettes but was not happy with the price she paid and was requesting a refund. The manager advised her she was unable to refund the money, and the female was refusing to leave. Officers advised the female left the business and was advised not to return to the property. She also was advised on the proper procedure for obtaining a refund.

– A resident came to the police station to report she was depressed and wanted to talk to someone for advice.

– A resident in the 300 block of Logan Street reported he found a screw in his tire and believed a neighbor was responsible, but he could not prove it. The information was documented.

– Two callers reported a vehicle horn blaring for several minutes in the rear of the 400 block of East Union Street. The vehicle owner advised he was having battery issues. The scene checked OK.

– Dylan James Michael Godwin of Mill Road was issued a summons for theft after an employee at Kroger reported a male subject stole a bottle of alcohol from the store and left on foot walking toward Mingo Street.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 500 block of Gumm Place after a resident reported receiving strange knocks on her door for the past week.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 300 block of South Court Street. The caller advised there was a male subject at the residence refusing to leave, but he left prior to the officer’s arrival. They would call back if the subject returned.

– Officers responded to reports of a possible drunk driver in the area of Atwater Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– Officers responded to reports of an injury accident in front of the Speedway gas station on Lancaster Pike. The subjects were treated at the scene, and a report was taken.

– Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 1000 block of South Court Street. The subjects were advised if they were called back to the residence, the male would be arrested.

April 12

– A caller advised a dog was running loose in the roadway in the 200 and 300 blocks of North Court Street.

– A caller reported a male subject was yelling at his children in the area of Court and High streets. Officer advised there was no arguing or yelling, and the scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the gravel lot at Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park on Pontious Road. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– Officers responded to reports of loud music coming from a house at Sunnyview and Avon. Officer advised the area checked OK.

– A 911 caller reported she was being chased by a male in an SUV in the area of Brown Memorial. The male subject advised he thought the caller was his girlfriend, and it was a misunderstanding.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of East Corwin Street. The scene checked OK.

– A 911 caller reported an active fight with two adults outside in the 500 block of Gumm Place. The subjects advised there was no fight, but parents were disciplining a juvenile. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 100 block of Barry Drive reported his neighbors were talking to juveniles through their upstairs window trying to lure them inside the home. He said the neighbors left the residence, but he would advise once they returned. Officers were advised.

– A caller reported a male was looking into a residence in the 200 block of Clark Drive where no one was home. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– Matthew Kennedy was arrested on a warrant in the 1100 block of North Court Street after a caller reported he was trespassing in the store and was later caught stealing from the location.

– A 911 caller reported seeing smoke at the rear of her residence, and she was unsure if there was a fire. The officer located the fire on Mingo Street, and the resident was advised of city ordinances.

– An employee from CVS on East Main Street reported a male was walking down the street with two shopping carts belonging to the business.

– A caller reported her neighbor was burning brush in their back yard on Lynwood Drive. Officers advised it was a small cooking fire and checked OK.

– A resident reported the window of his vehicle was shattered in the 400 block of East Union Street. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 200 block of Clark Drive reported his father and brother were fighting, and his father had a bloody face. A juvenile was transported to the police station, and a report was taken on domestic violence.

– An employee at Little Bear Market on Harrison Street reported a male subject in the store who was previously advised not to return. He then left the area on foot, running toward Cottage Hill Lane. She advised she would call back if he returned.

– A resident in the 900 block of South Court Street reported his vehicle was damaged and there were skid marks beside his vehicle. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip.

– An officer was flagged down on a report of a male passed out at the Speedway gas station on North Court Street. A report was taken on disorderly conduct by intoxication.

– A resident came to the police station to report a dispute with her ex-husband over her 9-year-old daughter having a cell phone.

– Officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 300 block of East Main Street. A report was taken.

– A caller in the 100 block of West Water Street reported someone had been using his dumpster without permission. A report was taken.

– A Stoutsville resident reported he had been receiving calls about underage drinking at his son’s residence in the 100 block of South Washington Street while his son was in jail. The scene checked OK.

– A 911 caller reported a known male subject was harassing and threatening another male subject. The caller was advised on the proper use of 911, and the male subject was advised to leave the other man alone.

– A 911 caller advised she needed to report criminal damage at her residence in the 300 block of Lancaster Pike, but then advised someone poured water or urine on the floor, and she had fallen and was unable to get up. A medic responded to the scene, and a report was taken.

– A caller reported some juveniles throwing rocks behind the former Court Street Elementary School. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles but advised there was no damage to the building.

– A caller reported the female living in the rear apartment in the 300 block of East Mound Street was screaming for help. The victim refused to cooperate for charges, and a report was taken on domestic violence.

– A caller reported two young boys pushing an old-style lawn mower down the sidewalk with a fire in the front of it. Officers were unable to locate.

– A caller reported three young boys on the roof of the former Court Street Elementary School running back and forth. They then got down from the roof and were walking through the field behind the building. Officers were unable to locate.

– Corey D. D’Aiello of Town Street was arrested for possession of narcotics after a caller reported a male passed out in the alley beside his residence in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

– The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office requested officers make contact with a local resident accused of stealing a tractor key belonging to a Stoutsville resident. Contact was made, and the message was delivered to contact the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office.

– An officer was flagged down for the report of open basement doors at the former Court Street Elementary School. The scene checked OK, and the door was secured.

– A resident reported someone busted out the window of her car in the 100 block of Logan Street.

– A caller reported possible alcohol poisoning of a 20-year-old male in the 100 block of West Mill Street. The subject was transported to Berger Hospital, and a report was taken on underage alcohol.
