Something special is going on from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Wright-Poling Pickaway County Dog Shelter – an AFTER-Easter Egg Hunt!

The dog shelter staff decided to host their egg hunt when they would be the only one of the day. That gives you a chance to bring the kids, hunt for eggs and visit with the shelter dogs. You might find the perfect fit for your home and family and take home more than eggs.

Egg hunt times are 11 to 11:30 for ages 1 through 7 and noon to 12:30 p.m. for ages 8 through 12.

If you are looking for a larger dog, the shelter has several, beginning with Unger and his brother, Uzi. They are Retriever/Labrador mixes, black with white markings. They are not quite 3 years old, but they have been at the shelter for almost a year. They are current on their vaccines.

To view the dogs currently residing at the shelter, go to www.circlevilletv.com and click on “Adopt A Pet.” You can also go to Petfinder.com and click on “Pickaway County.” Time Warner, Channel 9, shows the dog show on Sundays at 3 and 9 p.m. and Wednesdays at 2 and 9 p.m.

The Wright-Poling Pickaway County Dog Shelter is located at 21253 Ringgold Southern Rd., Circleville, off U.S. Route 22.

See you at the dog shelter.
