In recognition of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, Lisa Johnson, director of Haven House, and Connie Knapp, court advocate, spent their Monday delivering cookies and cupcakes to local community partners in honor of their service to domestic crime victims.

“Pickaway County has a wonderful collaboration in serving victims of domestic violence, and we are so grateful to live in a community with such caring individuals and agencies,” Johnson said.

The pair delivered treats to the Circleville Police Department, Circleville Municipal Court, Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, Pickaway County Common Pleas Court, Pickaway County Children’s Services, Ashville Police Department and South Bloomfield Police Department in appreciation of their continued support.

The 2016 observance of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week runs April 10 to 16 and is sponsored by the Office for Victims of Crime. The OVC is a component of the Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice.
