Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Russell M. Burris Jr., 18, of Villa Drive, Circleville, pleaded guilty to burglary. He is being held without bond in the Pickaway County Jail pending a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Taylor C. Dennis, 25, of Mt. Sterling, pleaded guilty to burglary and grand theft. He is being held without bond in the Pickaway County Jail pending a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Mickey Cline Jr., 45, of Ashton Drive, Ashville, pleaded not guilty to theft. A pretrial hearing is set for May 13.

– Lindsey N. Pyle, 21, of Garden Parkway, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. She was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail and must complete an intensive supervision program.

– Terran Smith, 39, of Middlefork Road, Laurelville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. Smith was ordered to complete the Pickaway Area Recovery Services inpatient program.

– Christopher M. Spurlock, 24, of Kime Holderman Road, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to two counts of forgery. A pretrial hearing is set for May 13.

– Carol F. Weah, 25, of Canal Winchester, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. She was sentenced to 6 days in the county jail.
