Evelyn Theresa Yenger, 80, of Washington Court House, died at 3:01 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, shortly after arrival at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Yenger was born Oct. 3, 1935, at Osborn in Greene County, to Francis Raymond and Dorothy Mary Randall Pitstick.

She moved to Washington Court House in 1992 from Florida. She was a retired condominium salesperson. Mrs. Yenger was a member of St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Richard Yenger in 1992; and by seven brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Yenger is survived by two sons, Richard Lee Yenger and his wife, Terri, of Bloomingburg and Stephen Francis Yenger of Boston; a daughter, Tina Brooke of Kapolei, Hawaii; five grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin, Brooke and Daniel Yenger and Carrie Shepard; three great-grandchildren, Cole and Hensley Yenger and Amara Shepard; a brother, Francis R. Pitstick Jr. of St. Cloud, Florida; two sisters, Dorothy Pitstick of South Carolina and Kathy Pitstick of Circleville; and special friends, Dottie, Nell and Ruth.

In keeping with her wishes, her body was cremated and there will be no funeral or visitation. Private burial of the cremains will be in the New Silvercreek Cemetery in Jamestown.
