Erma B. Schooley, 92, of Ashville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Pickaway Manor in Circleville.

She was born on Nov. 22, 1923, in Woodstock, to the late Royal B. and Zella (Black) Greene.

Erma was a homemaker raising her family and farmed with her husband, Edwin M. Schooley, for many years. He preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 1988. She was also preceded by a host of siblings.

Erma is survived by her children, Robert (Janet) Schooley of Commercial Point, Terry (Judith) Schooley of Circleville, Merry L. Hall of Ashville and Danny (Masako) Schooley of Powell; grandchildren, R. Brian, Eric, Lee, Shane, Julie, Christie, Brent, Barry, Koh and Ken; numerous great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; step-sister, Betty Nolan of Kentucky; half-brother, Robert Greene of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, with Reverend Doug Shriner officiating. Internment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Heartland Hopice, 116 Morris Rd., Circleville, OH 43113; or Pickaway Manor Care Center.
