Candace L. Arledge

Candace L. “Candy” Arledge, age 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2015.

She was born on Jan. 2, 1948, in Circleville, to the late Richard S. and Lenora (Douglas) Dawson.

Candy was a sweet soul. She will be remembered for her spunk and for being a great listener. She enjoyed playing bingo as well as bowling. She was a member of the Cook Road Baptist Church in Lucasville and retired from Amerisource, Lockbourne.

In addition to her parents, Candy was preceded in death by her husband, Randy; and her siblings, Kendall Dawson, Richard E. Dawson, John Happenny, Joan Wilson, Janeen Dawson and Mavorneen Dawson.

She will be greatly missed by son, Sheldon Arledge; her sister, Mona (Larry) Parks; special niece, Chrystil (Tom) Jenkins; great nephew, Ian Camden; sisters-in-law, Judy Dawson and Nancy Happenny; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Chapel, 151 E. Main St., Circleville, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 2015.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hunger Fund at the Cook Road Baptist Church, 1101 Cook Rd., Lucasville, Ohio 45648.
