Circleville Police Reports

– A resident came to the police station to report the KP Lodge on East Franklin Street had been broken into. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 200 block of Linden Lane reported her husband was threatening her. The male decided to leave the residence, and a report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A caller from Jacksonville, Florida, reported she received a call from someone claiming to be a Circleville Police officer advising her to stop posting on Topix about her cousin. The caller provided the phone number of the alleged officer, and a report was taken.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 400 block of Watt Street. A report was taken on a domestic dispute, and the female left the residence.

– An employee at Peebles on U.S. Route 23 reported a known suspect stole a sweater and jeans from the store and left with two males in a pickup truck.

– A 911 caller reported a break-in at a business in the 200 block of Island Road. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office was advised and handled the scene.

– The West Jefferson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol advised a trooper was traveling southbound on South Court Street following a vehicle whose passenger had a felony warrant and was requesting assistance. A traffic stop was made at South Court and Sperry Drive, and the OSHP handled the scene.

– A resident in the 100 block of Hayward Street reported a vehicle kept driving at a high rate of speed and recklessly tearing up gravel through the alley behind the residence. The subject was located but denied driving recklessly. He was advised of the complaint.

– An employee from Eye Specialists on U.S. Route 23 reported a male subject believed to be a suspect in a previous theft was inside the business again. The subject was located, and information was obtained.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident in the 500 block of East Main Street.

– Officers impounded a vehicle for expired tags following a traffic stop at the dead end on South Scioto Street.

– A 911 caller reported a vehicle had a small child standing up in the seat, not properly restrained. A traffic stop was made on the lot at Cristy’s Pizza on South Court Street, where the driver advised the child had unbuckled herself. A warning was issued.

– A 911 caller reported a female with dementia was walking away from a residence on Walnut Creek Pike and refusing to come home. Officers located the female on Atwater Avenue, and she was returned home.

– A caller in the 200 block of Walnut Street reported her 14-year-old brother punched their other brother, and it was an ongoing situation. A report was taken on an unruly juvenile.

– An employee at Aldi’s on U.S. Route 23 reported subjects were caught attempting to steal items from the store, and they left in a silver minivan. A report was taken.

– A Stoutsville resident reported someone struck the mirror on her vehicle in the parking lot at Charmion Dance Studio on North Court Street and left the scene. No damage was observed.

– A resident in the 500 block of Renick Avenue reported she got her son back from visitation and he had bruises all over him. Circleville medics were dispatched, and the toddler checked OK. The mother was referred to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office for follow-up.

– Timothy E. Zeimer was arrested at Burger King after a 911 caller reported a male sitting at a table who would not wake up. Narcotics were reportedly recovered, and Zeimer was transported to the Pickaway County Jail.

– An employee at CVS on East Main Street reported a male digging through the dumpster without permission. Officers were unable to locate.

– Officers responded to an activated fire alarm at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church on East Main Street. The fire department handled the scene.
