Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Joshua L. Bailey, 29, of South Main Street, Williamsport, pleaded not guilty to failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer. A pretrial hearing is set for Dec. 11.

– Jermaine C. Bozeman, 31, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in heroin. He was sentenced to 48 months in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Christina L. Butterbaugh, 30, of Richmond Dale, pleaded not guilty to possession of heroin. A pretrial hearing is set for Dec. 11.

– Leslie A. Crosby, 50, of Walnut Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to possession of drugs and possession of heroin. A pretrial hearing is set for Dec. 11.

– April Kuykendall, 33, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to trafficking in cocaine. She was sentenced to four years in state prison at Marysville and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Deborah J. Mackay, 60, of East Franklin Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to theft from the elderly. A pretrial hearing is set for Dec. 11.

– James M. Samples, 18, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools. He was sentenced to 11 months in state prison at Orient and must pay $1,124 in restitution.

– Laurie L. Smith, 39, of Pontious Lane, Circleville, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of cocaine. She was sentenced to three years of intervention.

– Timothy E. Zeimer, 36, of Railroad Street, Stoutsville, pleaded not guilty to possession of heroin. A pretrial hearing is set for Dec. 11.
