Walnut Elementary selects October students of the month

At Walnut Elementary School, a student from each homeroom is chosen as the “Student of the Month” by the staff members at Walnut. The students are recognized for improvement in grades or good grades, good attendance or improvement in attendance, character, behavior, attitude toward others/learning, good citizenship or improvement in citizenship, classroom participation, demonstrating responsibility and/or respectful to peers and teachers.

October “Students of the Month” are Emma Thompson, Peyton Jacobson and Luke McAlister, kindergarten; Jersey Jackson, Brendan Cupp and Halle Kinne, first grade; Micah Mann, Kiah Sparks and Blaze Good, second grade; Meagan Sharp, Hayden McCray and Carter Hutchison, third grade; Nick Watkins, TJ Kuhlwein and Karley Richard, fourth grade; and Drew Thanasack, Hannah Good and Travis Embry, fifth grade.
