Donald A. “Butch” Duvall

Donald A. “Butch” Duvall, age 70, departed this life on the morning of Nov. 4, 2015, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Don’s achievements include business owner, construction and a heavy machine operator and 20 years of service with the Franklin County Engineers Office, retiring in 2008.

Don will be remembered for his corny jokes, sleeping while deer hunting, his love for Ford Mustangs and his desire for making family memories. A mentor, father, grandfather, brother and all-around good guy; Don will be missed.

Florida was his favorite place to vacation. Carolyn and Don always enjoyed his time spent between Aunt Carol’s, Uncle Eddie’s and Denise and Gene’s. The family Disney vacations was what he looked forward to most, and how many times can one grown man go through The Country Bear Jamboree!

Don is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Carolyn; his two daughters, Tracy (Gary) Joiner and Tricia (Mac) Cargould; grandsons, Hayden, Cody, Aaron and Hunter; his brother, Dave (Brenda) Duvall; and his sister, Susie Noble.
