Donald Lemley

Donald Lemley, 78, of Kingston, passed away on Oct. 29, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family.

Donald was born on May 15, 1937, the son of Herbert and Velma (Dowler) Lemley.

On April 7, 1963, he married his wife of 52 years, Janet (Newton) Lemley.

He was a 1956 graduate of Kingston High School, a 56-year member of the Logan Elm Masonic Lodge #624, and a 36-year employee of DuPont, Circleville.

Donald also proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959 and was stationed in Germany.

Donald is survived by his wife; son, Royce (Dawn) Lemley; sister, Joann Lemley; grandchildren, James and Jonathan Lemley; niece, Debbie Jo (Lemley) Donahue; and many other special nieces and nephews.

Donald was predeceased by his parents; and brother and sister-in-law, David (Delores) Lemley.

Donald enjoyed camping and fishing with his family at Lake Erie and was a skilled woodworker and basket maker.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Hill’s with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Donald’s name to the Logan Elm Masonic Lodge #624, 23 N. Main St., Kingston, OH 45644; and the Green Township Fire Department, P.O. Box 700, Kingston, OH 45644.
