TVEF grant helps fund Space Camp trip

Carmen Tarbill, elementary gifted teacher in the Teays Valley Local School District, recently received a $500 grant from the Teays Valley Educational Foundation to help pay for a trip to Space Camp for her students.

“Our fifth grade gifted students would like to thank the Teays Valley Educational Foundation for their support of our 2016 Space Camp trip,” Tarbill said. “This is an unforgettable learning opportunity for our students. They will gain valuable problem solving skills while learning about some of our country’s greatest accomplishments. We greatly appreciate the support we have received from this community.”

The students are expected to travel to Space Camp in Alabama in March 2016.
