Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Dustin Case, 34, of state Route 207, Mt. Sterling, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail.

– Donald E. Cassady, 44, of Matville Road, Orient, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Jason P. Lambert, 41, of North Court Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to three years of intervention.

– Elisa K. Leasure, 42, of state Route 104, Circleville, pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in cocaine, two counts of trafficking in heroin and trafficking in drugs. She was sentenced to 40 months in state prison at Marysville and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Harold S. Lightle, 51, an inmate at the Southeastern Correctional Institution in Lucasville, pleaded guilty to complicity to illegal conveyance of prohibited items into a prison. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison at Orient.

– Douglas A. Schaffner, 32, of Ringgold Southern Road, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to escape. A pretrial hearing is set for Nov. 13.

– April L. Brown, 42, of East Franklin Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to burglary and petty theft. A pretrial hearing is set for Nov. 13.

– Keith L. Carruthers, 24, of South Court Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to three counts of trafficking in heroin. A pretrial hearing is set for Nov. 13.

– Susan Cornwell, 49, of Beaver, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents, possession of heroin and trafficking in heroin. She was sentenced to three years of intervention.

– Joshua T. Cross, 33, of Dearborn Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of heroin. He was sentenced to three years of intervention.

– Harry A. Green, 67, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison at Orient.

– Martin J. Hanley, 32, of Gahanna, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Blaine R. Hardin, of Kingston Pike, Circleville, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs and attempted illegal assembly of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs. Hardin will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Rebecca L. Hatfield, 25, of Washington Court House, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. She was sentenced to nine months in state prison at Marysville.

– Alisha N. Misner, 29, of West Virginia, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. She was sentenced to nine months in state prison at Marysville and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Paige L. Palmer, 52, of Crites Road, Circleville, pleaded guilty to theft of drugs. She was sentenced to 12 months in state prison at Marysville.

– Danyelle Scheurell, 40, of Scioto Darby Road, Orient, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. She was sentenced to 12 months in state prison at Marysville.

– Teela Zarbaugh, 30, of South Court Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. She was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail, then to a halfway house.
