PIKE – SHERIFF JAMES E. NElSON reports that his office is investigating a stabbing that occurred on Auerville Road and Morgans Fork Road on Monday July 20th at 9:23pm .Upon arrival deputies located a male identified as Jacob A. Friend, age 30 of St. Rt. 104 with a stab wound in the upper left chest area. Friend was flown to OSU Medical Center my MedFlight. The investigation and continuing and charges will be forthcoming.
