PICKAWAY – Pickaway Correction Facility is reporting another death of inmate making it the fourth inmate to die in five days.
The first death of a inmate in Pickaway Corrections happened April 11, 2020, two more inmates died yesterday April, 15 and now one today.
Pickaway Corrections also has seen a surge of new cases since April 6, 2020 only 5 inmates had tested positive for COVID-19 now 10 days later the institution is reporting 149 inmates, and 48 staff members, additionally correctional reception center that is located in the same location is reporting 33 inmates positive, and 6 staff members.
Currently there are no other prisons in Ohio with any deaths with COVID-19.
