Ohio State Highway Patrol Reports a Second Train in Ohio Derails in Just a Week

AMHERST – A second train has derailed and gone off its tracks in just a few weeks in Ohio. Todays derailment happened in Amherst Ohio around 1:30 pm on Tuesday December 1, 2020.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol the derailment happened at SR58 and Middle Ridge road. A total of ten cars were derailed, and none of the cars have hazardous material in need for evacuations. No injuries have been reported.
