CHILLICOTHE – A post is getting shares and worrying people in the Ross county area with claims that Adena in Chillicothe just confirmed their first person with Corona Virus.
We reached out to Adena’s communication Manager Jason Gilham and he says these claims are not true at all, that they do not have anyone suspected of COVID-19.
Recently VA hospital in Chillicothe started screening people for flu symptoms and a Portsmouth college has quarantined a group of people that may have been in contact with COVID-19 but no cases are confirmed in this area at this time. Hospitals are required to report any possible cases of the virus immediately.
