Christopher Hasson, a Coast Guard Lieutenant has been accused of stockpiling weapons and targeting Supreme Court Justices, more specifically Democrats and TV Journalists. Hasson is expected to plead guilty in a case charging him with gun and drug offenses.
Hasson has been described as a domestic terrorist by the Federal Prosecutors, but have not filed any terrorism related charges against him. Prosecutors said Hasson “intends to murder innocent civilians on a scale rarely seen in this country”
He is expected to appear in court Thursday for a rearraignment, which typically means a plea deal has been reached.
A plea deal has not been announced but a person with knowledge of Hasson’s plans said he’s expected to plead guilty during his court appearance in Maryland.
