Marjorie M. Bower, 99, of Circleville, passed away September 3, 2017 at The Wyngate Senior Living Community.  She was born July 26, 1918 in Stoutsville the daughter of Joseph and Forest (Fausnaugh) Goodman.  She married W. Curtis Bower on October 20, 1937 and managed their family farm operation until his death in 1986.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Donald Goodman, sister Dorothy Creager and son-in-law Dr. Bill Blair.  Marjorie is survived by her son Dale (Jo Ann) Bower, daughter Janet Blair, granddaughter Krista Bower all of Circleville, several cousins, nieces and nephews, special friend and caregiver Alice Mumaw and her Chihuahua Pippin.

Marjorie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Stoutsville Senior Center.  During her lifetime, she cooked many meals, sewed baby quilts and crocheted afghans for family and friends.  She loved her flower gardens and pets.  She was an amazing lady and will be dearly missed.  The family would like to thank the staff of Wyngate and Berger Hospice for caring for Marjorie in her final days.  Funeral service will be held 10:30 Thursday September 7, 2017 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Father Dave Getreu officiating.  Friends may call from 4-8 Wednesday and 9:30-10:30 Thursday.  Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Preschool or Berger Hospice.  Online condolences may be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com
