LOUSIANA – A man was pulled over last week for being a little too busy to renew his vehicle registration, since 1997.
Sidell Police department posted online that the man gave that excuse when they pulled him over for the over twenty year expired tags.
“For those of you who like to “switch tags”, at least give us a good challenge and don’t use a license plate that is over 20-years-old and expired back in 1997, the police department,” said on social media, “Yes, this actually happened. Yesterday, one of our officer’s stopped a vehicle with this license plate on it…”Sorry, officer. I’ve been busy lately and totally forgot to renew my vehicle registration. I will take care of it as soon as I get home!”
