Miller Commons Senior Apartments consists of 40 2-bedroom apartments located at 110 Miller Avenue. They are currently accepting applications for a waitlist. The units are available to seniors who earn up to 60% of the area median income. The community offers ample green space, an enclosed dog park, a large community room, an exercise space, attached shelter house, and a community garden.

“We are extremely pleased to open Miller Commons Apartments for the senior citizens of Pickaway County. We appreciate all the support from the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging and Charles K. Wise, Mayor of Ashville and the Ohio Housing Finance Agency in getting this development funded and constructed. We also want to recognize our equity investor, U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation (USBCDC) and U.S. Bank their investment in Sandstone Family Apartments.”

Partners in the project include: Ohio Housing Finance Agency, Frontier Community Services, U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation, LW Associates, and Lusk Architecture with support from the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging and Charles K. Wise, Mayor of Ashville.

Miller Commons Senior Apartments were partially financed by equity raised from the sale of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits to USBCDC and HOME dollars from the State of Ohio, and a modest mortgage from U.S. Bank.

“Frontier is pleased to recognize U.S. Bank and the USBCDC as our partners in the financing of Miller Commons Senior Apartments.  We have worked with them on several developments, and they have been great partners in our work in affordable housing development.” said Rod Siddons of Frontier Community Services.
