LICKING County – Licking County Sheriff says that part of his duties is to assist the Board of Elections on election day to make sure the process is not disrupted, and to make a safe environment.

“During the General Election tomorrow Deputies will intermittently be visiting the 27 polling locations in Licking County. Deputies will have a presence outside of the polling places and will only go inside if requested to do so by the Board of Elections relative to any disruption. While we have no credible information indicating any such disruptions in Licking County, we will be prepared to respond to any such attempts in a swift and responsible manner,” said Licking Sheriff Randy Thorp.

The Sheriff said, “get out on what looks like will be a beautiful day and exercise your right as an American to vote, and to do so without fear or disruption.”
