OHIO – A tween retailer is rolling back some of its brick and mortar and will go more online after COVID-19 issues have forced the parent company of the store to declare bankruptcy.
Ascena Retail Group who operates brand names such as Lane Bryant, Catherines, Ann Taylor, Loft, Lou & Grey and Cacique, filed for bankruptcy Thursday with plans to shutter 1,600 of the companies 2,800 stores according to a press release from the company.
The Justice brand formally Limited too will aim for online sales and less brick and mortar.
