Inmate in Pickaway Correctional Institution Tests Positive for COVID-19

PICKAWAY – One Pickaway County inmate who is currently in isolation has tested positive for COVID-19 according to date released from ODRC on Saturday.

Only one other prison reported a positive case Marion Correctional at this time.

The data also says that the jail is in full quarantine at this time along with three other jails Franklin medical, Marion Correction, and Toledo Correction.

According to the report, “Prisons may implement quarantine procedures when staff or inmates test positive. Quarantined facilities are operating under modified movement and the populations are being separated by unit along with other precautionary measures. Every inmate at these facilities is monitored daily and has their temperature taken along with a check for symptoms.”
