Hocking County Sheriff Lanny E. North reports:

October 30, 2019
Deputies received a complaint of a person who had walked out in front of a bus, almost being struck. Deputies located the person, Megan L. Crist, 25, Chillicothe on Calico Ridge Rd. Crist identified herself by another name, but the deputy had known who she was. Crist was taken into custody for outstanding warrants from Hocking County, Logan Police and Circleville Police. Crist was transported to the Pickaway County Jail.—–

Deputies responded to a theft complaint at a Geiger Rd. residence. The case remains under investigation.—–

November 2, 2019
Deputies investigated a single vehicle crash on Sherman St. and Shriner St. The driver lost control of the vehicle striking a stop sign, coming to rest 100 feet from the intersection. The driver was cited for failure to control.—–

November 4, 2019
Deputies received a complaint of a missing juvenile at a SR 180 residence. Deputies began an investigation and began looking for the juvenile. Deputies were able to locate the juvenile.—–

November 4, 2019
A resident came to the Sheriff’s Office to report a stolen vehicle. Deputies entered the vehicle into NCIC and the investigation is ongoing.—–

Deputies responded to a domestic violence complaint at a Davis Chapel Rd. residence. After investigation, deputies forwarded domestic violence charges to the prosecutor for a juvenile suspect.—–

November 5, 2019
Deputies took a theft report from Hocking Valley Industries. Deputies were told that overnight someone removed two catalytic converters from two buses. The case remains under investigation.—–

Deputies took a report of a possible menacing complaint. Deputies spoke to the parties involved. The victim did not want any charges filed.—–

Deputies responded to a Hocking Drive residence for a theft complaint. The victim told deputies that two vehicles had catalytic converters removed. The case remains under investigation.—–

November 6, 2019
Deputies responded to an active breaking and entering complaint at a Maysville Greendale Rd. residence. The property owners returned to find a male driving a silver car beside the garage. The male told the property owners the neighbor had given him permission. The male entered his car and tried to run over the property owner as he fled. The case remains under investigation.—–

Deputies responded to a Charles St. residence for an unruly juvenile complaint. Unruly charges were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office.—–

Deputies responded to a domestic violence complaint at an Ellis Rd. residence. After investigation, deputies arrested Aaron L. O’Neal, 23, Laurelville for Domestic Violence, Assault and Aggravated Menacing. O’Neal was transported to the SEORJ.—–

November 6, 2019
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Front St. after a vehicle passed another on a double yellow line. The driver Alan M Seymour, 27, Logan was arrested for a warrant from Ross County.
