August 9, 2019
Deputies stopped a vehicle traveling on Old McArthur Road which displayed fictious plates and expired registration. The driver, Dakota Sharon had no operators license for failure to reinstate. He was issued a citation and summoned into Hocking County Municipal Court.—–

Deputies responded to Haydon Place apartments regarding a criminal mischief complaint. —–

Deputies were dispatched to the Eagles Lodge in Murray City regarding a patron who was being hostile to the staff and other patrons. Upon their arrival, deputies located the individual, identified as Dwayne Breeze of Nelsonville, sitting on a bench near the establishment. Breeze was highly intoxicated, had difficulty responding to questions and very belligerent. Breeze was transported to the SEORJ for a six hour hold and summoned into Hocking County Municipal Court for disorderly conduct. —–

Deputies were dispatched is an address on West Street regarding a criminal mischief complaint. The complainant advised deputies someone had put a large number of nails in her driveway. —–

Deputies were dispatched to a cabin on Sowers Road regarding an assault. Upon their arrival they met with a female who had an injury to the right side of her face. She requested EMS respond to check her. After cleared by EMS, the victim stated she did not want to pursue any criminal charges against her assailant, which had fled the scene prior to arrival of deputies. —–

Deputies were dispatched to the Boot Shop Outlet on US 33 regarding a shoplifting complaint. Employees stated to deputies a male and female had been in the store for approx. forty minutes looking a merchandise. The two individuals then ran out of the store stealing four pairs of boots valued at nearly $1,000. They fled the parking lot in a black Nissan which displayed stolen license plates reported stolen to the Lancaster Police Department in July. —–

As a deputy was enroute to the Sheriff’s Office for duty, he observed a female walking in the middle of Hunter Street near Orchard, swinging her arms and starting to spin in circles. The individual stated she had last used drugs the day prior and had not slept. She provided a pipe to the deputy, which will be sent to the Ohio BCI&I for testing. —–

Deputes were dispatched to Union Road regarding a confinement of dog issue. The complainant states while away from their residence, they discovered 13 of their chickens missing. The feathers from the chickens were located and led into a direction of a neighbor who has dogs which have come onto their property numerous times in the past. The report was forwarded to Hocking County Dog Warden, Deputy Wright for follow-up. —–

Deputies were dispatched to a Blue Creek Road, South Bloomingville address regarding a burglary. Nothing was discovered missing, however evidence recovered from the scene will be sent to the Ohio BCI&I crime lab for processing. The report was also forwarded to the Detective Bureau for follow-up.—–

Deputies were dispatched to a Long Run Road, Laurelville address regarding a domestic violence situation. The victim states she had been assaulted by her boyfriend and was on her way to HVCH for treatment when deputies located her. After receiving her statement at the hospital, deputies went to her residence on Long Run and arrested Orion Mullin for assault and domestic violence. He was transported to SEORJ. —–

Deputies were dispatch to the Hocking County Fairgrounds to investigate a male and female that were reported on the grounds and appeared to be under the influence according to the complainant. Prior to arrival of deputies, the male had left however, the female was located. She was very impaired, unable to control movement of her arms and legs and unable to maintain a clear and precise conversation. She turned over a glass pipe and marijuana to deputies, which will be sent to the Ohio BVI&I lab for testing. EMS was requested to respond and transported her to HVCH for medical treatment. —–

Deputies responded to an address on Blue Creek Road on a report of the theft of a Cub Cadet riding mower.
