Grove City Burglary Suspects Caught in Fayette County

GROVE CITY – On December 10th, 2019 Grove City Division of Police released home security video asking for assistance in identifying two suspects who committed a burglary and robbery with a firearm at a residence on Buxton Lane in Grove City. Through tips received from this press release, detectives were able to positively identify both suspects.
December 27th, 2019 Grove City Division of Police detectives, with assistance from the Fayette County Sherriff’s Office and the Washington Courthouse Police Department, located and arrested without incident, Chris Love age 33 and Jeffrey Gorman age 52 both residents of Fayette County, in connection with the December 9th burglary and robbery. Both suspects have been charged with aggravated burglary, a felony of the first degree, and are being held at the Franklin County Jail. Additional related charges are pending.


Grove City Division of Police would like to thank the Washington Courthouse Police Department and Fayette County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in locating and apprehending these suspects. Additionally, the Division would like to thank the members of the community who came forward with information that allowed for quick identification of these suspects. This conclusion is another positive example of law enforcement and the public working together to make Grove City a place where families and businesses can prosper.

Original Press release: GROVE CITY -On December 9, 2019, around 6:00 pm two men came to the front door at a residence on Buxton Lane Grove City, Ohio 43123. The male wearing the hooded sweatshirt in the picture below pulled out a handgun and both males entered the residence. The males took money and other items from the victim.
