Famous WildLife Educator Coyote Peterson Searches for Giant Catfish in Local Circleville Quarry

CIRCLEVILLE – Coyote Peterson a famous wildlife educator and host of Animal Planet series Coyote Peterson: Brave the Wild was in Circleville recently getting dive certified and looking for a large catfish that lives in a rock quarry off Island road.

The quarry mentioned is located at 1182 Island Road in Circleville, and is used by lots of diving enthusiast due to its depth and its clarity, something that is hard to find in Ohio waters. The clear waters and the ease of getting to the location makes it a common place in the area to get SCUBA certified by several dive instructors.

Coyote Peterson who travels all over the world finding rare and unusual species of animals to talk about, has spent some time in Ohio hunting several species of animals. Known for being stung by some of the most painful creatures, Peterson is also a conservationist and aims to educate not just entertain.

In this episode Peterson is using the Circleville Quarry to get his certification, but also he spotlights the location and its legendry catfish in the quarry.

Several people have told me that the location has a huge catfish, I have yet to see it but plan myself to go diving this summer.
