COLUMBUS – A woman was given a 200,000 dollar bond after police say she “alleged” she was injured after purposely jumping from a second story jail balcony, then escaped by signing herself out of a Columbus Hospital.

Allbaugh was the center of a joint narcotics investigation between the Nelsonville Police Department and the Athens County Prosecutors Office since the Summer of 2020. On January 18th, 2021 Allbaugh was apprehended by NPD Officer Jones and booked into the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail. Judge McCarthy placed a $100,000 bond with no 10% allowed on Allbaugh.

Allbaugh wasn’t on the run for long, Police arrested her in Hocking County later that evening. Now the woman faces her original charges plus escape a felony.
