Domestic Abuse Center, Haven House Expands Housing to New Location

CIRCLEVILLE -Haven House of Pickaway County is a shelter location for abused and homeless women and children.  Haven House provides crisis intervention, case management, legal advocacy, referrals, support groups, individual counseling and more.


Haven House has outgrown its current location located in the back of the PICCA location on East Ohio Street, and will now move to a new location on 111 Island Road.  The new housing location will house 32 adults, and will offer a better floor-plan.  “We have people who stay one night up to years.  Its all depending on the situation, the average stay is about 3 months, said Lisa Johnson Haven House Manager.

The new facility has been equipped with family style bathrooms that will give moms the ability to take care of her kiddos a lot easier, a updated laundry facility, a new kitchen, and kids play areas to help families deal with the transition.  The center also will be able to offer classes in a new classroom on site, along with the counseling, case management, and support groups they normally offered, all free of charge.

Haven House of Pickaway County, Inc. will be hosting our OPEN HOUSE on Friday, July 20th, 2018 at our new location 111 Island Rd., Circleville, Oh 43113.  They will also be offering a 10:00 am prayer earlier the same day, to bless the location if your interested in being involved in that.
