Columbus Police Officer Injured in Juvenile Suspect Stolen Vehicle Chase

COLUMBUS – A female officer has been hospitalized after a serious chase that led to the arrest of four juveniles in the area.

According to police, on Friday February 19th, CPD 5pct Officers responded to an “Officer needs assistance” call in the cities South Linden neighborhood.

Officers had attempted to pull over a stolen vehicle when four juveniles jumped out of the vehicle and ran from police. A female responding officer was injured when she lost control and crashed. She was transported to hospital with serious neck injury.

The four juveniles were identified and arrested in the area of the crash.
