Circleville City Schools Reduces Gatherings by Consolidating Lunch Days

CIRCLEVILLE – Feeding our students over the break will always be an “essential activity” at Circleville City Schools. While we are committed as ever to ensuring students have access to meals with local distribution, our Grab-N-Go Meal Program will take on a slightly different look starting next Monday, March 30th as we reduce our distribution days from 5 days a week to 3 on Monday-Wednesday-Friday only.

This change helps the district reduce our essential gatherings to provide meals by 20 percent moving forward, while continuing to provide needed nutritional options to students without missing a bit. Our kitchen staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to be able to give students two lunches and two breakfasts at a time starting next Monday. The process will be repeated on Wednesday and then again on Friday for the weekend. Aside from a reduction in days, Circleville City Schools will still be using the same bus route for meal delivery across town and will still provide the curbside pickup options at 424 E. Mound Street at the Pickaway Ross Career and Technology Center.

We have been blessed with the outpouring of support we have received for our Grab-N-Go Lunch program in the form of volunteers, local support, and donations as we have distributed over 3700 lunches and 3700 breakfasts in just 9 days.

As always, for all things Circleville City Schools stay connected with us on CirclevilleCitySchools.org, the CCS app, Facebook, Twitter, and Class Dojo. Go Tigers!
