CHILLICOTHE -On April 15, 2019 at 7:34PM Chillicothe Police Officers and Ross County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Goldie Gunlock Park behind the old Max and Erma’s restaurant in reference to a possible body in the water. Chillicothe Officers and a Ross County Deputy arrived and discovered a deceased person partially submerged in wetland waters. Chillicothe Detectives and the Ross County Coroner’s office took over the investigation.
Chillicothe Police have identified the person as missing woman Linda Roach. Roach went missing in November of 2018 in the Chillicothe area. According to police there is no evidence of foul play but cause of death is still under investagation.
