CHILLICOTHE – A road that has had issues with landslide like movement since the wet spring/summer months has now been reopened after ODOT says it had some additional movement recently.
According to ODOT SR 125 has reopened to traffic as of this afternoon Thursday January 30, 2020. The route was closed Tuesday evening due to an existing pavement slip showing signs of new movement, most likely as a result of recent wet weather. Adams County ODOT crews have performed temporary repairs to help stabilize the pavement and smooth the driving surface. Traffic is advised to traverse the area at speeds of 25 MPH or less. The slip will be continually monitored by Adams County ODOT maintenance personnel to evaluate whether additional restrictions may be warranted.
