Breaking News: Multiple Earthquakes Hit Cuba/Jamaica Area Aftershock at 6.5

CUBA – The U.S. Geological Survey or USGS is reporting a Major Earthquake has erupted in the Atlantic Ocean just south of Cuba and Northwest of Jamaica.

According to the survey the earthquake has registered as a 7.7 which is considered a Major earthquake on the magnitude scale. 8.0 and above according to the scale can destroy communities. The earthquake hit around 2:10 our time on 1/28/20.

The earthquake was centered about 78 miles north-northwest of Lucea, Jamaica and under 6 miles of ocean.

Update: Aftershocks have been registered at 6.6, 4.7,3.9,4.5 by Cayman Islands.

No reports of damage have been reported at this time as reports will come in soon we will update this post.
