Chillicothe – On April 6, 2019 The CPD was called to Yoctangee Park for a report of a body in the pond. The Male was identified in his 50’s, was recovered from the pond.
Polcie reported that there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body or indications of foul play. However, the body is being sent to the morgue for autopsy investigation.
On April 10, 2019 around 6pm Chillicothe Police released the name of the victim as Kevin Penix, Male/White/55 years old.
According to Chillicothe Police department Investigators were diligent in their efforts to ensure they were able to locate and contact the correct and appropriate family members before releasing information to the public.
Police reported earlier that foul play was not suspected in this incident.
